This week.

This is a very exciting week for the children. They are having a Dance Festival at their school and have been practising various dances for weeks. The Dance Festival is tomorrow night at 6:30. Samuel's class have learned a Russian Dance. They had a professional dancer come in and teach them, which was very exciting. Samuel is most excited about the fact that he gets to dance with a sword. (Thankfully, it's just cardboard) Abigail's class are doing The Charleston. They also had a prof. dancer in to teach them. Some of the mothers have made all the girls 'flapper' dresses and they do look really cute. Abby is also involved in an after school dance club that is participating as well. The whole school will be doing 'The Hand Jive' and the choir (Abby is in) will be performing also. Abby is very excited because she has to have so many costume changes and has been talking about how her hair is going to be for each dance...more power to the backstage help. I will try and post some pictures of the dance tomorrow night.

Trying this out!

Ok, so I'm a little behind the times with all this blogging stuff! I want to try it out because I enjoy keeping in touch with everyone, but I'm just really bad at doing it.
So hopefully I will be able to drop a note every now and then and everyone can be up-to-date with what is happening with us. This is especially for our family who don't live in the UK.
