More Birthday Fun
We survived another sleepover! Samuel was allowed to have a few friends sleepover for his birthday - his first sleepover! It was actually easier to have a BOYS sleepover than it was to have a GIRLS sleepover. I think it's all down to my fantastic husband whose job was to entertain the boys. Play a bit of football in the church basement, watch a movie about cars that transform into robots(carefully edited by Dad), wake up and play some more football..oh yeah and eat every once in a while. Abigail went to Dean's mum's for the night and Aleah joined in with the festivities! Sam is busy at work on a TRANSFORMER that one of his friends gave him as a gift. He would have been quite happy to be left alone to transform it peace. We got him to at least look at the camera this time! Sam's pirate cake! Which I am quite proud of...I made everything from scratch (cake, icing) except the sweets that we put on it!

We had a bit more fun with the snow throughout the week. Abigail was the only one who was able to persevere with cold hands and make a snow man. She then borrowed items of clothing from the rest of us to accessorize her snowman. When I look at pictures of the kids, sometimes I'm caught by surprise by much they are growing up and how beautiful they are! (If I do say so myself!) I had one of those moments when looking at this picture.
We didn't actually make these snowmen, we just used them for a 'photo opportunity'.
Here's another picture I'm posting just because it's cute...

Here's what we've been up to!
First of all I need to say thank you to my friend Connie and my sister-in-law Melissa for answering my Macaroni and Cheese plea! I did have a great picture of the Mac n Cheese tower that I built with the 32 boxes of mac n cheese, but I've lost the memory card that has it on! Thanks too to my sister-in-law, Kelli for her efforts and promise of things to come. Levi is 6 weeks old and growing fast. He is our smallest baby (although not small compared to most). At 6 weeks he weighs 10lbs 10oz and is 56 centimetres long. He is losing his hair and currently looks like he has a bit of a 'comb over'. He is spending more time awake after each feed and is responding more and more when he is spoken to with coos and smiles. His older siblings LOVE making him smile! It is lovely to watch their responses to each other. Today was full of excitement...we had a real live SNOW DAY Yes, folks...school was cancelled due to snow - a lot of it! There was around 5 inches of snow on the ground this morning and it snowed pretty much all day. The London buses were completely shut down, therefore not many people were able to make it to where they needed to go. We spent the day snowball fighting and sledging! School is cancelled tomorrow as well due to travel complications and health and safety. Here are some pictures of our fun! (and hopefully some video as well)
